WHEN WE LEARN FRIENDSHIP, WE LEARN IT FOR LIFE!
THE GOAL of Joy of It Friendzy is to teach a generation of kids to be really good friends.
Teaching friendship skills like compassion and kindness to kids Kindergarten - 8th grade combats social aggression and isolation. This program addresses the various challenges that K - 8 students face in their peer-to-peer relationships.
JOI Friendzy Curriculum is designed to change school culture by offering vital social and emotional learning lessons (SEL) to proactively address aggressive behavior, reduce stress, equip with healthy relationship skills, and improve focus and academic performance, which will increase resiliency for success in school and in life.
“Friendships are where we learn compassion and creativity. If we want the world to flourish, we need to teach children to be really good friends.”

“Citywide Friendzy is a great program that allows girls to come into a comfortable, loving, safe and fun environment to learn life lessons as they progress through grade school. Plus, they learn tools to use to negotiate the trials and situations.”

“I believe that offering social and emotional learning to kids this age builds self-awareness, better self-management, relational skills and more responsible decision making—all qualities that equip kids for those potentially rocky middle school and teen years.”
