No. 1 | My Snow Globe
A grounding activity to help students practice mindfulness as they draw themselves inside a slow globe, with 3-5 worries on their minds.
No. 2 | HOT COCOA BREATHING
A deep breathing technique to help calm nerves, reduce stress, and lower anxiety. Students will imagine holding a cup of hot cocoa, breathing in through their nose to smell it, and slowly exhaling through their mouth to cool it down.
No. 3 | LIGHT UP SOMEONE’S DAY WITH KINDNESS
A classroom activity to help students brainstorm ways to show kindness. Students will write an act of kindness on a light bulb to add to a class string of lights.
No. 4 | snowball race
Gather plastic spoons, cotton balls, and cups for this game! Carrying one cotton ball on a spoon at a time, students will race to see which team can get the most cotton balls into their cup on the other side of the room. Level up this challenge by adding more cotton balls on the spoon, walking on tip toes, or navigating around obstacles. Break students up into teams and let the game begin!
No. 5 | Snowflakes of Strength
An activity to help students develop self-awareness and celebrate the individuality of their classmates.
No. 6 | WInter Sweater
Print out the sweater template, provide coloring materials, and let students get creative as they design their own winter sweaters. You can even vote on your favorites at the end!
No. 7 | S.M.A.R.T. GOAL SETTING ACTIVITY
The end of the year is a great time to reflect and set new goals. Use the S.M.A.R.T. goal setting template to help students plan for the new year.
No. 8 | sNOWBALL FIGHT
A game for students to engage in meaningful conversations about favorite winter traditions and memories and what they are grateful for. Students will write answers on pieces of paper which they will use as snowballs!

No. 10 | GRATITUDE & GIVING GARLAND
An activity to help students focus on what they are grateful for and what they have to give others.
No. 11 | Marshmallow Dash Game
Teams will compete in this game to get the most mini marshmallows from the table to the cup. The catch? They have to use straws! Provide each student with their own straw and give each student 30 seconds to try their best. The team with the most marshmallows in the cup at the end wins!
No. 12 | FRIENDSHIP FLICKS BINGO
An in-school or take-home activity to connect with friends by watching a favorite flick. Use the Friendship Flicks Bingo card to see how many acts of friendship students can spot!
